Shipping Policy - Forget Me Not Studio

At Forget Me Not Studio, we understand that the items you send to us and the jewellery we create hold deep sentimental value. We take the utmost care at every stage of the process.

Processing Times

All pieces are handmade or handcrafted (finished by hand) .

Our current turnaround time is approximately one to three weeks from the date we recieve your inclusion materials (ashes, hair, fur, breast milk etc0.

You will receive email confirmation when: 

  • Your inclusion materials arrive safely
  • Your order is completed and dispatched

Please note that turnaround times may vary during peak periods.

Sending Inclusion Materials to Us

Customers are responsible for safely packaging and sending inclusion materials to our studio.  If requested we can post out a collection pack to you ( A small charge is made to cover the cost of the postage and material cost £1.50). Please note, we are also happy to receive inclusions within your own packing.

  • We offer a variety of shipping options for your convenience but we do strongly advise that a signed for or special delivery shipping is selected.
  • Using secure, sealed containers inside padded packaging.

Forget Me Not Studio cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit to us.

Unused inclusion materials will be respectfully returned with your finished piece unless otherwise requested.

UK Shipping

Finished jewellery is dispatched via:

  • The customers chosen Shipping provider from the options available at cheque out..
  • We strongly advise a Tracked / Signed For option is selected.
  • Advise that Royal Mail Special Delivery for higher value items.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

Once dispatched, delivery is typically:

  • 1-3 working day (depending on the service selected)

You will receive tracking information via email.

International Shipping

We ship internationally to selected countries.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
  • Delivery times vary by destination.
  • Custom duties, taxes or import fees are the responsibility of the buyer.

Forget Me Not Studio is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing.

Insurance and Liability

All finished jewellery or slate is carefully packed and dispatched using tracked services.

Once an order has been handed to the courier, responsibility transfers to the shipping provider. In the rare event of loss or damage during return transit to you, we will assist with claims where applicable.

We cannot replace irreplaceable inclusion materials.

Incorrect Address

Customers are responsible for ensuring the shipping address entered at checkout is correct.

We are not responsible for parcels lost due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer. 

Delays

We are not liable for delays caused by:                                                                                                                                                                             

  • Postal strikes
  • Severe weather
  • Customs processing
  • Courier disruptions

However, we will always support you in tracking your parcel.
