About Me

About Me
Hi, I'm Kimberley — though most people know me as Kim.
Forget Me Not Studio was born from a lifelong passion for craftsmanship and a deep appreciation for the memories that shape us.
My journey into jewellery making began as a young teenager, working part-time in a small artisan jewellery and antiques shop. They were just starting out and couldn't afford to pay me, so instead I was given something far more valuable — silversmithing lessons. That early experience sparked a love for creating that never truly left me.
Life, as it does, became beautifully busy. Between raising a family and caring for a houseful of animals — pets, horses, and everything in between — my creative work settled into a quieter pace, with only the occasional piece made here and there. As my children grew and found their own paths, I found myself with a little more time and space — and my passion for jewellery, craftsmanship, and heritage techniques came back stronger than ever.
I love creating, and I enjoy experimenting — you'll find that my work blends heritage and modern techniques in equal measure.
As my work evolved and I began taking commissions for customers around the world, I was asked to create keepsake jewellery — and from there, memorial pieces followed naturally. When I was first asked to create jewellery using ashes, that moment changed everything. I fell completely into the process, driven by the meaning behind each piece and the trust placed in me by every person who reached out. It was then that Forget Me Not Studio truly came to life.
Living with ADHD means I bring an intense level of focus and care to every creation. I become fully immersed in each piece, treating it with the same attention and respect as if it were for one of my own loved ones. I understand how precious these materials are, and every step is handled with patience, compassion, and precision.
Today, I create bespoke jewellery using a range of techniques and materials — including breastmilk, ashes, hair, and other deeply personal elements. I am always open to working with you to bring your vision to life, creating something truly unique and meaningful.
I feel incredibly fortunate to do what I love — especially knowing that each piece can help preserve a memory, honour a life, or keep a loved one close to your heart.
At Forget Me Not Studio, this is more than jewellery.
It's memory, love, and connection — made to last a lifetime.
